Student Code of Conduct Issues: There are many questions and concerns around the new Student Code of Conduct. We brought concerns to Summit on Friday after discussing the issues at our Thursday's Executive Board meeting. It would be helpful for questions to be sent through this district link: SCOC Question Link so that our Student Discipline Committee has documentation of some of the problems/questions/concerns. We have a meeting on October 2, so please try to write your concerns in that link. We brought up inconsistencies in answers between buildings, that it seems as though the referral process is harder with more steps for teachers, that attendance referrals seem unnecessary since IC documents these events automatically, and a few more. Please use the link - only 6 questions have been sent, which makes it look like everything is wonderful and clear.
