Every election is the most important one ever. November 2018 is no exception. Whoever controls the top state offices determines the next map of Ohio’s General Assembly Districts. Even though Ohio’s voters are split pretty evenly between Republican and Democrats the gerrymandering perversion of our state gives absolute control to Republicans. In general, the ruling party in Ohio does not share our values in education policy, education funding, testing, and a host of important issues. We are looking for a little bit more balance and need our members to vote.
These recommendations for the election come from AFL-CIO and/or Ohio Federation of Teachers. Each candidate has filled out a survey and been vetted. These are our candidates. Please support them.
