-Reminder: TUSH on Friday, October 13 at New Heights Grill on Lee Road after school.
-If you are presenting for a district PD day you should be compensated at $23/hr for your preparation time, but will not be paid for the actual presentation since it is during the normal work day. If you need more than the 90 minutes prep that was given, then ask for more time. If it is not worth it then decline the offer.
-Retirement planners should not be prowling around the lounge or lunch room during the school day. In our contract we have the right to approve literature that goes in teacher mailboxes and we always stipulate that they cannot come to school during the work day. Please let your steward know if this is being violated.

Interesting. You can draw your own conclusions, but this demographic is very different than it has been in the past.
