Dear Colleagues,
We are 5 days away from election day. While it seems like we are always saying that an election is important, it has never been truer than it is this year. Your vote counts, and your vote matters. It is imperative that we reach out to all voters, and there are local organizations that need our help in the last campaign push before this critical election on Tuesday. Here are some ways you can help:
The Cleveland Heights Democratic Club
CANVAS/LIT DROPS ARE IMPORTANT: Most people don’t answer their doors, but we can drop literature that identifies the slate of Democratic candidates for all elections. This is helpful information as statistics show that 20% of voters have not made up their minds the week before the election. The few conversations we have when knocking on doors do make a difference. Please give canvas/lit drops a try after school Friday or Monday (or come on the weekend). All canvasses launch from the Ohio Democratic Party Office next to Tommy’s/MacsBacks on Coventry.

Northshore AFL-CIO
There is a canvass event sponsored by Northshore AFL-CIO this Saturday at PJ McIntyre’s beginning at 9:30 a.m., and it is being kicked off by Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown. Our target goal is for 1% of our membership to attend. Please register here to attend. There are more events on Sunday and Monday.
Vote
You can vote early and in-person at the Board of Elections in your county. If you would rather vote on election day, please make sure you know where your polling location is located. Ask your friends if they would like to join you, or offer a ride to anyone who may be in need. You can find the list of OFT endorsed candidates here.
