One of management's concerns around assigning IEP responsibilities to our members for Non-Public students is being able to ensure that there are enough Intervention Specialists willing to take on the work. We polled our Intervention Specialists about this as well as their experience with working on these types of IEPs.

FAIR TRADE, UNION MADE, STUDENT PRODUCED .... Go Tigers!
The Cleveland Heights Teachers Union (CHTU) has initiated a program of advocacy and practice supporting Union Made and Fair Trade products.
Our first effort has used T Shirt 'blanks' made/woven at Lifewear Inc by Workers United Local #1148 Affiliate of SEIU in Pennsylvania.
The T shirt design was created/designed by CHHS art teacher Laura Skehan and her students.
239 CHTU members were polled in September 2015 on how they would vote if the presidential election hapened at that time. See the results and comments.(link)
In May 2015 our local sent out a survey to members asking about the proceudres around testing this year. We had 4 short answer prompts for people to respond to. 82 people participated from all levels.
